Data, purposes and legal bases

• Orders: name, contact, billing, delivery, order and payment-status data to fulfil the contract, deliver goods, handle returns and meet tax and accounting duties.
• Customer service: your contact details and message to answer questions, handle complaints and protect our legitimate business interests.
• Newsletter: email address, optional first name, language, consent time and engagement data based on your consent. You may unsubscribe at any time.
• Security: IP address and technical request information where necessary to prevent fraud, abuse and automated sign-ups.
• Analytics: usage information only after you consent through the cookie settings.

Service providers and transfers

We use Cloudflare for hosting and security, Stripe for checkout and payment processing, OneSignal for consented email marketing, Google Workspace for business email and, only with consent, Google Analytics. These providers process only the data needed for their service. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area using an applicable lawful transfer mechanism. Stripe processes payment-card details directly; House of Gandha does not store full card numbers.

Retention

We keep order and invoice records for the period required by Dutch tax and accounting law. Customer-service records are kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter and establish or defend legal claims. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or we determine it is no longer needed. Security logs are kept for a limited period appropriate to investigating abuse. Data is then deleted or anonymised unless law requires longer storage.

Your rights

Depending on the situation, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@houseofgandha.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
